Appearance: Sarah is on the shorter end of the spectrum standing at 5'4". She has long brown hair which is naturally wavy, but she's been straightening it of late. She also has brown eyes. She has an athletic body type, obviously being in good shape despite not being an athlete or trained in any style of martial arts. Her typical style of dress is street punk, though she's taken to wearing more business-type clothes recently. However, she cannot be parted from her leather jacket.

History: Sarah’s origins were unknown to her until recently. She was given up for adoption from the moment she was born. She never knew her birth parents, and she became a ward of the state, spending her early life in an English orphanage and bounced around foster homes. She was around eight years old when she finally ended up with Siobhan Sadler, Mrs. S, and was taken in. Mrs. S adopted both Sarah and a boy named Felix Dawkins. Sarah and Felix grew close, and when she was fourteen, Mrs. S uprooted them all and moved them to the United States. Always the strong-willed girl, Sarah was quite the handful, and she eventually fell in with the wrong crowd. She fell into the life of a conwoman and drugs, eventually getting herself a criminal record for such things. Along the way, she had a daughter, Kira, whom Mrs. S became protective of given Sarah didn't see fit to straighten her life out. Eventually, Sarah left Kira with Mrs. S and disappeared for ten months, never contacting either of them. She had a volatile relationship with the clingy and abusive Vic, whom she eventually left, wanting a fresh start and to take Kira and Felix somewhere far away so they could build new lives for themselves. Though when she left Vic, she stole a pack of cocaine from him, intending to get Felix to sell it and the money they got form it they could use to start over.

It was a perfect plan, at least until Sarah got off the train.

As she was waiting on the platform, she spotted a woman who was obviously emotionally distressed and she tried to ignore her, but she couldn't. The woman took off her jacket and shoes and set them down by one of the pillars along with her purse. Sarah approached her intending to see if she was alright, and when the woman turned around, Sarah was shocked to discover the woman looked exactly like her. The woman didn't seem phased by this, or else she didn't really notice. Sarah watched in dumbfound horror as the woman jumped in front of the oncoming train, killing herself. In the ensuing chaos of people getting the train to stop and calling the police, Sarah glanced around, judging whether or not she was being watched, then she grabbed the woman's purse and ran straight to the bathroom where she went through the contents of the purse. The woman's name was Beth Childs.

She then met up with Felix and told him about her encounter at the train station, and also about her plan to use the profits from the cocaine to get him, her and Kira out of town and able to start over. Sarah gave him the cocaine, telling him to sell it, which he reluctantly did. After that, Sarah went to Beth's apartment, believing that she was her twin sister. After discovering that Beth had a stash of money in a bank account, Sarah decided to impersonate Beth so that she could clean out the bank account and use the money to help her start her new life. After going through Beth's things, Sarah changes her hairstyle, dying out the blonde streak in it and making it straight like Beth's, she learned her accent, signature and several other things she could utilize in order to make a convincing act for the bank. Sarah's intention was to only do this long enough to get the money. However, things got awkward when Vic showed up, but Felix helped Sarah evade him. They also had a plan to convince Vic, and everyone else Sarah knew, that she had been the one to jump in front of the train. But things got even more complicated when Sarah, posing as Beth, had a couple run-ins with Paul, Beth's boyfriend. Sarah slept with him to dispel his suspicions. However, it soon came to Sarah's attention that Beth was a cop and was under a suspension and investigation for a civilian shooting she'd committed. While she had conned the bank into draining one of Sarah's accounts that had $75,000 in it, she became entrenched in having to pose as Beth.

Beth's partner, Art, eventually discovers the cash which Sarah had left in the trunk of her car. He takes it, thinking it was a bribe. Sarah's plans to get out of town get derailed a bit more when she began getting odd and cryptic calls on one of Beth's cell phones. The woman on the other end had asked if she'd met "the German" yet. And she hadn't yet. At least not until she'd been watching her own memorial service that Vic wanted to do in her memory. Katja had shown up thinking she was Beth, at least at first. Sarah, frightened that there was yet another woman who looked exactly like her, got in her car in an attempt to get away, but Katja got in the backseat of the car and tried to talk to her, and it was during that conversation that she realized she wasn't Beth. However, before Sarah could get any further in the conversation, Katja was killed by a bullet to the head from a sniper rifle. With more bullets following, intending to kill her as well, Sarah drove out of there as fast as she could. Soon there after, she received another call from the mysterious woman, again asking about the German. Hysterical and just barely hanging onto needing to pretend she was Beth (maintaining an American accent), Sarah explained that Katja was dead, having been shot right in front of her. The woman confirmed that meant someone was killing them. She instructed Sarah to get rid of the body and insisted that she needed the briefcase Katja had. After borrowing a couple props from Felix, Sarah posed as Katja, going to the hotel with the room key she'd taken out of Katja's jacket pocket. When she got into the room, it was completely trashed, but there was no sign of the briefcase she was supposed to find. Being called to the front desk, the desk clerk informed her of damages she had to pay for the state of the room. She'd found a card that indicated Katja had had them lock the briefcase away in a safe and she asked for it. After clearing the bill using Katja's credit card the hotel had on file, Sarah left.

So under the cover of night, Sarah dumped Katja's body where she thought it wouldn't be found, washed all traces of blood out of the car, and made an appointment to get the car repaired given the gunfire had broken the windshield and done some body damage. She then drove elsewhere and broke the suitcase open. She found vials that contained blood and hair samples, and there were papers within it and several driver's licenses of other woman, all who looked exactly like Sarah. The cell phone rang and it was the mysterious woman. At first, Sarah still kept up her ploy of being Beth, but eventually she dropped the act, deciding she wanted answers. When the woman on the other end hung up, Sarah took matters into her own hands. One of the scanned driver's licenses was for a woman named Alison Hendrix, who lived close by. So Sarah went and staked her out and discovered she was, in fact, a soccer mom. After seeing Alison get a phone call then disappearing into a trailer next to the soccer field, Sarah went in and confronted her, wanting answers. However, Alison was less than helpful, telling her to simply wait for a call. When Alison called later that day, she told Sarah to come to her house at a specific time, to go to the back door and knock "quietly." Asking Felix to go with her as her wing man, Sarah went to Alison's at the designated time.

There, Sarah and Alison were joined by Cosima, another look-alike. During the ensuing conversation, Alison burst out that they were all clones. While they were talking, Alison's daughter woke up, and she quickly went to put her back to bed leaving Cosima and Sarah to talk. Cosima was wanting the briefcase that Sarah had. However, they were interrupted by hearing a commotion outside. Sarah exited the back door to find Alison pointing a gun at Felix, who had come to see if Sarah was alright. Sarah got Alison to put the gun down, and she slapped her, telling her not to point a gun at her brother again. Going back inside for both of Beth's phones, Cosima handed them to her and said she needed the briefcase, that it was a matter of life and death. Sarah and Felix left then. Later, Sarah went and met Cosima at a bar where the bartender simply took them for being twin sisters. Sarah was still finding it strange to have others that looked like her. She had a discussion with Cosima, wanting some answers, and finally she did give Cosima the briefcase she'd wanted. After that, Sarah was trying to find a way to get out of the situation she was finding herself in, but she was becoming entrenched in Beth's life, getting caught up in the investigation into the shooting. She'd tried to get out of it both by faking illness to get out of the hearing and pretending she was mentally unstable. However, Art told her if she didn't somehow correct the situation, she wouldn't get the $75,000 back and the investigation wouldn't go away. So Sarah had to finagle her way back into good standing with the psychologist, eventually resorting to blackmail given Beth had been prescribed various medications that would then put the therapist's job into question. Having the favorable psych report, Sarah got another hearing and, after Art gave her the case file, she learned the details of the case and went through with the hearing. Soon thereafter, "Beth" was reinstated as they'd got a body. Once they got to the scene, Sarah recognized the place as where she'd buried Katja's body. She'd mistakenly buried it near an active quarry, and the body went through one of the gravel crushers and thus was badly mangled.

After frantically calling Cosima, she asked if their fingerprints could flag a match. Cosima said it was possible if one of them had a criminal record, which Sarah fessed up to having. Cosima gave her advice on what to do, assuring Sarah there was a window of time before the fingerprints came back. Reassured for the moment, Sarah went back to pretending to be Beth, juggling both the professional life and the private life. Somewhere in there, Sarah met Alison who taught her how to shoot a gun so she could properly pull off masquerading as Beth. During that meeting, Sarah learned that the account she'd taken the $75,000 out of had been Alison's money, her contribution to helping the clones defend themselves as necessary against whoever was killing them. Sarah immediately began to feel guilty for taking the money, so with Art having returned the money to her, she kept it to use for the defense of herself, Cosima and Alison. She also managed to sit down and talk with Mrs. S, explaining that the memorial was just a way to get Vic off her case. After a long and careful discussion, Mrs. S said Sarah could visit with Kira, and that she had to prove that she could be still and capable of being a mother in order to get her daughter back. Soon after that, Sarah went back to being Beth, meeting Art and discussing some facts of the case. Sarah also managed to block the fingerprint match, deleting the email that came through to the forensics team that held the results with Sarah's rap sheet and mug shot. They found evidence at the scene to support someone had been at the scene. Discovering tire tracks and eventually matching them to a type of motorcycle, Sarah put an APB out for the bike, which later got a hit. Her and Art went to investigate, not taking any back-up as they hadn't thought they'd have an encounter with the suspect. However, while searching the apartment, it became clear the suspect was a religious fanatic, having written a Bible verse on the wall. While Art was reading the scrawl on the wall, Sarah noticed the suspect was outside and aiming a gun at Art. Sarah yelled a warning and pushed Art out of the way as the gun went off. However, Art had been grazed by the bullet. Sarah was frantic, but at Art's command, she went after the suspect. She got outside the apartment and drew her gun, commanding the suspect stop. A foot-chase ensued, though Sarah wasn't exactly trying to keep up with the suspect. She wasn't really a cop and thus had no training in how to handle this situation. However, she was led to an area and Art called her. She related the path she'd taken to him, but in the middle of that, she was hit on the back of her head and knocked to the ground. The suspect pulled out a knife and was about to stab her when Sarah exclaimed that she wasn't Beth. The suspect stopped, pushed the hood back to reveal blonde hair and that it was in fact another clone. Seeing a chance as the other clone was wondering who she was, Sarah grabbed a rebar and plunged it into the clone's abdomen. She dropped her knife and fled the scene. Sarah grabbed the knife and hid it in her pocket, insisting that she hadn't seen the suspect as she'd been hit from behind. She remained mum on what had actually transpired as far as telling the police went.

After being sent home by her commanding officer, Sarah instead went to Alison's house and told her about her encounter, that one of the clones was killing them. Alison was frantic, wanting to know if this killer clone knew about her or her family, but Sarah assured her she didn't say anything and that the clone was impaled with rebar. Sarah gave the $75,000 back to Alison, and said she'd been right, that she was going to take it and run, but that she couldn't do that. Sarah had her own family to protect as well. She revealed that she had a daughter, Kira, and that she was her biological daughter. Alison railed Sarah for not mentioning this before, and Sarah defended herself saying she was telling her now, that they had to deal with this. When Alison said it wasn't her problem, Sarah gave her a pointed look, at which point Alison relented and asked how she could help. Sarah told her to be available given she was supposed to visit with Kira later that day, but with the killer clone on the loose she doubted she'd be able to uphold her end of the bargain with Mrs. S and more than anything she wanted Kira back. Alison agreed. Later that day, Sarah video-called Cosima asking about the knife she got from the killer clone. She'd faxed her a picture of it, and Cosima went off on a tangent. Cosima stressed that they needed to find her because she had answers. Sarah stressed the only way that would happen would be if she remained a cop, which Felix steadfastly objected to. However, Sarah explained that she'd stay on long enough to discover who the killer was given Art was already on the trail, and then she'd jump ship and deal with whatever they discovered. Felix relented, making a comment about crazy being genetic, which Sarah just rolled her eyes at. After assuring Cosima she hadn't shown the knife to Alison, Sarah eventually left as Art texted her that they had a lead.

Driving to the address Art sent her, Sarah saw the motorcycle the killer clone had used resting against the curb in front of a house. However, the police hadn't gotten the killer clone, but there was a lot of blood leading from the motorcycle inside the house to a bathroom on the ground floor where it was apparent the killer clone had stitched up her own wound. There was a witness, a little boy who, upon questioning about what the person he'd seen looked like, he pointed at Sarah. It was then Art realized the suspect they were hunting was a woman. Sarah asked to talk to the boy, and she told him she wasn't the "Angry Angel" as he had called the killer clone. The boy said the Angry Angel had said she'd come and left a message for her in the form of the game fortune teller. On the way out of the house, Sarah called Mrs. S to confirm that she'd be there at 8 pm to see Kira. Mrs. S warned her that if she let Kira down, she'd never be able to see her again. She assured Mrs. S that she'd be there at the appointed time. Back at the police station, copies of the fortune teller were made and given to all the cops working the case as they attempted to analyze the suspect that they now knew to be female instead of male. It was then made known to everyone that while the skull reconstruction was going very slowly due to Katja's body going through a gravel crusher, they did have a cause of death as a bullet wound to the skull had been located. With no other leads on DNA or fingerprints, they were left with profiling the killer, whom they revealed to be a religious fanatic and was most likely the victim of abuse. During the meeting, a call came in for "Beth" and when Sarah answered it, it was the killer clone. Upon pointing out that the killer clone could've killed her but didn't, the killer clone said she'd felt that the two of them had a connection. Sarah got the killer clone's name, Helena, and Helena wanted her to meet her, saying she already gave her directions. At which point Art came in, followed by the other detectives, and pointed out the numbers in the fortune teller were addresses. Sarah hung up the phone and watched as the various addresses were pinned up on the map of the city. Finding that one address they hadn't been to yet, they left to go investigate it. Having found where Helena had stayed, they found drawings of stick figures on the walls, the same ones from the fortune teller game. After they finished and let forensics take over the scene, Sarah called Felix, telling him there was no way she could make it to se Kira due to the investigation. Realizing she needed to be in two places at once, she confessed she had an idiotic idea that if anyone could pull off being in two places at once, "they" could. Felix thought she was insane for suggesting it, but it was the only thing she could do. So Sarah sent Felix to Alison's to get him to prep her for impersonating her.

After returning to the police station, it soon was evident that Helena had been there. The pictures of Katja's crime scene and evidence had been rearranged. Helena had left clues for Sarah at her desk, one of which was a picture of Maggie Chen, the woman Beth had shot. Sarah pulled the file out and went through the picture of Maggie's autopsy, and she found a tattoo of a fish on the back of Maggie's neck in the same style as the fish on Helena's knife. As she took a picture of the photo of Maggie's tattoo, her phone rang, alerting her that she had a visitor. Looking up, she saw Paul coming in. She asked why he was there, and then he asked if she was fine. He asked her to let him take her home, that he'd taken the rest of the day off. Sarah tried to get him to stop, at which point Art came in and intervened, and Paul got uppity with him. Sarah took Paul outside to talk with him. He said they needed to spend some time together to figure out what was happening with them given she seemed to be a completely different person. They left it at that as she had to get back to work. But her clone phone rang and it was Cosima, who'd done some digging with the Maggie Chen stuff that Sarah had sent to her. Cosima said that Helena and Maggie Chen were connected. Sarah told her about Helena having been at the police station impersonating Beth and that Helena wanted to meet her alone. Cosima agreed it was a bad idea, and then asked what the cops knew about her. Sarah summarized the religious fanatic and abused as a child for her. Cosima said that the fish symbol was Christian and that fashioned onto a weapon it symbolized a holy crusade. She went further to explain that to extreme creationists that they (meaning the clones) would be abominations, that they'd be Satan's children, not God's. After going back into the station, Sarah got a call from Helena, who emailed her an address to meet her at. Also in the email was a video that Helena had recorded when she'd been in the station pretending to be Beth. In it Helena stated she was Beth Childs and that shooting Maggie Chen had not been an accident, that it had been on purpose. Sarah drove to the address that Helena sent her, which ended up being Maggie's apartment. Before she went in, Sarah recorded a message on her phone for Art in the event Helena killed her. She said he was the only one she trusted to figure the whole thing out and told him her name was Sarah Manning. Going into the apartment with her gun drawn, she kept it pointed at Helena until Helena was kneeling on the floor and she sat herself in a chair. Sarah was very afraid, but did her best to keep her composure. Helena said that Maggie had helped create the clones, but then she saw the light and went to "their" side, meaning the religious fanatics. Sarah realized then that Beth had killed Maggie to protect the clones after having put all of that together. Helena said she could save Sarah, that there was a light in her, to which Sarah said there's a light in everyone, which upset Helena, and she insisted that the clones didn't have a light in them, that they were all copies of God's work. Sarah wanted to know why Helena thought she was so special, then she realized that the people who had raised Helena told her she was the original. It was then that the buzzer to the apartment rang, and Sarah knew it was Art. She tried to convince Helena that what she'd been told wasn't true, that they all here genetic identicals. She insisted that whoever had told that to Helena hates her just as much as they hated the other clones. Sarah asked what had happened to Helena, but Helena didn't have an answer. With the gun pointed at Helena, Helena walked closer until the barrel was pressed against her forehead, and she asked Sarah if she felt it. Art then knocked on the door. Something in Sarah stopped her from pulling the trigger and letting Art find Helena. So she pushed Helena out the window onto the fire escape, allowing her to get away without Art finding her. After leaving with Art, she returned to the station and called a meeting with Art and the commander. Sarah turned in her badge, giving the reason that she wasn't ready yet despite everything the department had done for her. With that done, she walked out.

After returning to Beth's apartment, Sarah video-called Alison, and she explained that Helena was still out there. Alison expressed disapproval that Sarah stopped being a cop, but Sarah changed the subject, thanking Alison for helping her with Kira and setting up another chance for her to see Kira. Afterwards, she was taking a shower when Paul snuck into the apartment, scaring Sarah. When he apologized, Sarah asked how sorry he really was and told him to get in the shower. They proceeded to have sex in the shower, and afterwards as they laid in bed, Paul suggested they pack their bags and leave now that she was off the force. Sarah said they'd talk about it in the morning. She had dreams about people in what appeared to be white doctor garb performing various tests on her. However, while she was brushing her teeth, she ended up spitting a metal piece out of her mouth. She also found a mark from a needle on the inside of her left elbow. That proved that they hadn't been dreams, that it had been real. After telling Paul she was going out for some air, Sarah went to Felix's so she could video-call Cosima and ask her about the metal thing. She'd also called Alison and asked her to come there. Cosima told her it was an electrode from an EEG helmet, which monitors electrical activity in the brain. Alison proposed that they were being monitored and kept calling them lab rats. Cosima confirmed they all were probably being watched, that if it was her experiment she'd put someone close to keep tabs on them. Sarah asked about what exactly the doctors did to her, to which Cosima said it sounded largely diagnostic from what Sarah could remember. Felix also inadvertently revealed to Alison and Cosima that Sarah had slept with Paul. Alison gave Sarah the gun she'd asked for, along with $20,000 then she left. Sarah made the assertion that she'd shoot Paul's balls off, but Cosima implored that she only squeezed because Paul was their way into the whole thing. She also advised Sarah to be careful because if it was her experiment and her subject became self-aware, it would either be a eureka moment or she'd terminate. After hanging up with Cosima, Sarah got a call from the police station again, this time she answered it, thinking it was Art, but it was Raj. He said he was going to need the surveillance equipment he'd lent her back before they did inventory. He'd also let slip that it was just about Paul. So Sarah now had a tip that Beth had been spying on Paul, which undoubtedly meant she'd also figured out that Paul was her monitor. So Felix and Sarah went to Beth's apartment to look for the surveillance equipment. However, there was no trace of the equipment in the apartment. They did find a box Paul had that had some pictures of him when he was in the military, along with a Purple Heart medal, and letters Beth had written to him. Having no luck finding the equipment inside, they went and checked Beth's car, opening the trunk and sure enough, the equipment was hidden in a compartment in the trunk. Deciding it was time to pay Paul a visit at work, Sarah took one of the bugs to plant in his office, along with a bag lunch.

Paul was in a meeting, so Sarah used the opportunity to plant the bug under Paul's desk. During their more intimate conversation, Paul discovered the scar behind "Beth's" left ear was gone, raising his suspicion about her. As he had to get back to work, Sarah left, saying she'd see him that night. She went about reading the letters Beth had written Paul and she called Felix. She told him that Beth loved Paul and couldn't understand why Paul didn't love her back but wouldn't leave her. Felix told her that Paul was falling for her, which Sarah had no response to. Instead, she turned the subject to Kira as she was outside Kira's school waiting for her. She admitted that out of everything, seeing Kira again scared her the most. Upon reuniting with Kira, Sarah said it was her that time, but Kira knew that. Sarah was overcome with emotion, having missed Kira very much while she'd been gone. On the walk home, Kira asked about why Sarah had never said anything about Auntie Alison, and Sarah told her she hadn't known her, but she'd explain everything to her one day. Kira then asked if someone was trying to hurt them given Alison had told her Sarah was making sure they were safe. Sarah assured her they were safe. Once inside Mrs. S's house, Sarah made the comment that Kira was so independent, much like she'd been, only she'd been much angrier. Sarah also made the assertion that Mrs. S was the one that got Sarah as far as she was, and that she knew that, much to Mrs. S's abject surprise. Though she'd asked Mrs. S for her help, which Mrs. S had been waiting for. Though Sarah wanted to know what Mrs. S really knew about her, about where she came from. However, Mrs. S didn't know much aside from Sarah having been in the system. Upon wanting to know why Sarah was asking now, Sarah said she was trying to square things away for Kira. Mrs. S also asked about Vic, but Sarah said they didn't have to worry about him anymore.

While Sarah was still at Mrs. S's, Alison called her, telling her she'd just been assaulted by a "disgusting thug" that thought she was Sarah. Upon realizing it was Vic, Sarah asked what had happened, and Alison wanted to know if that was Kira's father, to which Sarah vehemently said he wasn't. Alison asked about Paul and Sarah revealed that she'd found surveillance gear that Beth was using to spy on him, but she didn't have anything further to say on the subject. Alison told her to call her back when she knew something and hung up. Sarah went to Felix's and after chastizing him about his getting involved with the morgue attendant they'd conned into identifying her body, she told him Vic was back and thought she was alive. She asked what he had on Paul, and he played some audio where a man named Olivier was talking to Paul about Beth. She then got a call from Paul, and he wanted her to come home so they could talk, but she declined and hung up, knowing he knew something. At which point he sent her a picture of her and Kira that had been taken when she'd been walking Kira home from school. And then Vic showed up. Sarah gave him the $20,000 she'd gotten from Alison and wanted him to leave her alone. Upon further discussion, Vic made the assertion that they'd been on top of the world, that they'd been in love, but Sarah said she'd never loved him. She told Vic to take the money and leave, but he assured her it wasn't over. After he left, Sarah told Felix to go to Mrs. S's and make sure Kira was alright. She then left to go back to Beth's apartment to confront Paul. Before she got out of the car, she got a call from Cosima. Felix had called her and played the recording from Paul's office. Again, Cosima urged Sarah to not kill Paul or do anything like that. Sarah wasn't having any of it because he knew about Kira. However, Cosima said that Paul had covered for her, and that it sounded like it was a double-blind experiment, that they were keeping Paul in the dark about the fact that Beth was a clone. But it was obvious that the Olivier guy knew everything about the clones. Cosima said they needed to get to Olivier, to which Sarah said not if she got to Paul first and hung up. She went inside and Paul confronted her. At first, she tried to keep up the part of being Beth, but Paul kept pushing until he pointed a gun at her and asked where Beth was. Sarah dropped the act and confessed that Beth was dead, having jumped in front of a train. She said she was Beth's sister, but Paul didn't buy that either. He pressed the issue of Sarah having killed Beth, but she said she didn't kill her, that he had because he was her monitor. She asserted that the man Beth had loved had turned her life into a lie, that he let people come in and medically examine her in her sleep and that she'd found out about it all. Sarah just wanted to know why he'd done it, but Paul said that "they" didn't tell them why.

The next morning, Paul and Sarah had an actual conversation about what was going on. Paul explained his problems didn't start when he was in the military, but Sarah was slightly skeptical, wondering why they made him be Beth's monitor for two years and not knowing why they wanted him to do that. Paul said that they needed to be honest with each other, but Sarah was still highly wary. She pressed him for where the results of the tests the doctors did on her went, and he said they went to Olivier, but beyond that he didn't know. Sarah said she was going to take a shower, but instead slipped out the bedroom window and got away. While in the car, she called Cosima, confirming that she was right about Paul not knowing about the clone aspect. Cosima confessed she had a monitor issue of her own, saying she was new at the University of Minnesota that semester and didn't bring anyone with her, but someone wanted to be friends. Sarah urged her to stay away from them, and Cosima got uppity with the whole "Do as I say not as I do," but Sarah got interrupted by Alison calling her, so she hung up with Cosima and Alison told her to get over to her house right away that she had a situation. So Sarah drove over to Alison's to see what was going on. When she got there, she discovered Alison had tied her husband to a chair in the laundry room and Alison suspected him of being her monitor. To complicate matters, Alison had forgotten about the neighborhood potluck. While Alison went and played hostess, she asked Sarah to pretend to be her and interrogate Donny, her husband. Sarah called Felix and told him what had happened, and asked him to come be the bartender and help with Alison. After she was finally ready, Sarah went and started interrogating Donny. During the interrogation, she found out that Donny had gotten up in the middle of the night to watch cricket. As he heard the sounds of the party upstairs, he started yelling at "Alison" and talking down to her, which Sarah wasn't going to stand for, so she yelled back at him, reminding him that his wife was the rock of their family and that he wasn't going to talk down to her any more. When Felix arrived, he went to handle the people while Sarah and a very drunk Alison had a talk. Alison was lamenting that she wasn't even a real person, but Sarah assured her she was, and then told her that Donny had gotten up to watch cricket in the middle of the night. Alison then began to believe that Donny wasn't her monitor, that one of the other women in the neighborhood was her monitor. Alison then passed out, leaving Sarah trying to figure out what to do. She went upstairs and told Felix that Alison had gone down and that they needed to get her life out of the fire somehow. Felix said he thought that he'd spotted Alison's real monitor, a neighbor from across the street. Going back down to Donny, Sarah told him that while he was down there, he should think long and hard about them and their family, that he didn't want to lose them. Once she was done with that, Felix called her and told her to come upstairs, that Vic was there. When Vic took the phone, she told him to meet her in the upstairs bedroom.

Vic told her he wanted in on her scam or he'd blow the whole thing wide open. At which point Paul came into the room, defending Sarah and playing that he was the one in charge, that she was working for him. He suggested they go talk in the garage. When Sarah opened the door to the room to head out, she found Aynsley, Alison's suspected monitor, was there. Paul and Vic went to the garage while Aynsley wanted to talk to "Alison." During the conversation, Aynsley pointed out that "Alison" had changed her shirt since the party had started and noted that "Alison" was behaving rather strangely, that she'd get to the bottom of it. Sarah then went down to the garage where she found Paul holding a loaded nail gun to Vic's head. She swore that she'd tell Paul everything that was going on as long as he let Vic go. At which point Alison's daughter came in, but Sarah quickly ushered her back outside. Then she turned around in time to see Paul shoot a nail through Vic's hand, effectively nailing his hand to a wooden lawn chair. Finally getting rid of Vic, Aynsley came into the garage and introduced herself to Paul. As Paul was reaching for the gun he had, Sarah stepped in and took his hand, telling Aynsley that every marriage had its secrets. After getting rid of Aynsley, Paul said it was time to go home. When they were home, Paul asked Sarah if she wanted a drink and to talk. So Sarah said they were clones, that they knew of nine of them so far. At which point Paul put the bottle of liquor he'd taken out away and grabbed a different one, took a drink from it then gave it to Sarah, telling her she should've just said that in the first place.

After their talk, Olivier called Paul in for a meeting. Sarah video-called Cosima to express concern that Paul wasn't answering her calls and that it had been hours since Olivier had called him in. Her point was that she wasn't certain that Paul was on their side and she was worried he was selling all of them out to Olivier. During her conversation with Cosima, the two got into an argument over their monitors. She warned Cosima to stay away from Delphine until she knew if Paul was selling them down the river or not. Getting Felix, Sarah drove to find Paul and found his car outside of an underground club. Sarah was worried that the tests done to her would prove she wasn't Beth, but Felix backed up Cosima's assertion that they were genetic identicals given everything he'd read online on the subject. Sarah was going to go into the club, but Felix went instead given clubs were his domain. She waited in the car until Paul came out, followed by Felix and Paul was about to assault Felix as he accused him of following him, and Sarah intervened, telling Paul that Felix was her brother. She wanted to know what happened, but Paul told her to meet him at home, that they'd talk there. When they talked, Paul revealed that Olivier had told him that someone was killing the clones. In the conversation, she'd only revealed that she'd met Alison, still keeping Cosima secret from Paul. When she was going to leave to go see Kira, Paul gave her the keys to his car and told her to take it just in case someone was tailing her. Upon him saying that it was his job to keep her safe and to let him do that, Sarah gave him a bit of a confused look before she left. When she went to get the car, Helena confronted her, wanting to talk over lunch. So Sarah took her to a restaurant where Helena proceeded to eat everything she could get, finally ending up with a cup of jello that she added sugar to. Sarah found her behavior a bit odd and asked if they fed Helena wherever it was she went to. Helena made it clear she wanted to know the names of the others, and gave Sarah an ultimatum. If she called her by midnight with the names of the others, Helena would spare Sarah's life. If she didn't, Sarah would die first.

After the encounter with Helena, Sarah called Cosima telling her she was back and about the ultimatum she was given. Sarah assured her that she wasn't going to give Cosima up, but Cosima said maybe she should, but to Olivier. Sarah then braced herself, muttering about Cosima having a new theory. Cosima was hypothesizing that the people who created them must want to keep them safe, thus they'd probably protect them from Helena. Upon further discussion, Cosima asked if Sarah knew about a Doctor Aldous Leekie and his Neolution branch of science. At which Sarah said Olivier owned a club called Neolution. Cosima was attempting to say something about Dr. Leekie, but the instant she said she'd gone to a lecture of his with Delphine, Sarah got angry saying Cosima had said she'd stay away from Delphine. Cosima retorted that no she didn't, Sarah had just told her to stay away. Cosima tried to turn the topic back to Helena, but Sarah said she'd stay out of her end if Cosima would stay out of hers and hung up, tossing her phone into the passenger seat of the car. After that, Sarah went to Mrs. S's to visit Kira. While there, Mrs. S gave her a book that had some stuff about Sarah in it. They sat down and talked about it. England had been in arms at the time and things were chaotic. Mrs. S said a guy named Carlton sometimes brought her children in the black and that Sarah had been one of them. Sarah asked why she needed to be hidden, but Mrs. S said she hadn't asked, that she simply had an opportunity to legitimize a child so she became Sarah's legal guardian. Mrs. S said the last time she spoke to Carlton, he begged her to hide Sarah deeper, so she left everyone she knew and took Sarah and Felix to the United States. As Sarah was getting ready to leave, Mrs. S told her she'd be able to keep Kira safe, the same way she'd kept Sarah safe. Sarah then hugged Mrs. S. As she was about to say goodnight to Kira, she got a call from Paul. He told her to run, that they knew she wasn't Beth. So she took Felix and went to Olivier's club to get Paul out, saying she couldn't just leave him in there. When Felix pressed her for a plan, wondering if she was going to take Cosima's idiotic suggestion of giving them up to Olivier, Sarah said she had an even worse one. She called Helena, giving her Olivier's name and told Helena to meet her at the club. Sarah then told Felix if she wasn't back in 15 minutes, that he should call Art and tell him everything and make sure Kira was safe. She then went inside looking for Paul and Olivier. Upon being taken to Olivier's office where Paul was tied to a chair, Sarah gave Olivier Helena's knife. Olivier revealed to Sarah that they had genetic evidence that proved she wasn't Beth, and she asked how that was possible if they were genetically identical. Olivier also accused her of being the one killing the clones, at which point she said the one they were looking for was blonde, Ukrainian and a religious nut. Olivier got a call from Leekie, telling him to prepare Sarah for travel. As Sarah was being left in a room, Helena finally appeared, knocking the other woman out and asking Sarah for the name of one of the clones. At which point Sarah said she'd already given her a name and she started choking Sarah, but finally Sarah caved and gave her a name. At which point, Helena untied Sarah's wrists, they switched jackets and then switched places, Sarah taking the chance to escape with Paul while Helena was left to await Olivier coming to her. Back at Felix's, Sarah revealed that she'd given Helena her own name. Paul said that they couldn't go back to their house, they'd look for them there. At which point Sarah again initiated sex once Felix left.

The next morning, Alison called Sarah, informing her that she'd come back from couple's counseling early and that her and Donny were getting a divorce. She also said she was taking a break from Sarah and Cosima, that she needed to get things in order. Sarah warned her to be careful since she didn't know who her monitor was and not to fixate. However, Alison hung up. Then Sarah got into another argument with Cosima over how to deal with this. Cosima was upset that Sarah turned Helena onto their creators and Sarah was upset because Cosima "got the science wrong" since they knew she wasn't Beth. Sarah ended up hanging up on Cosima. Sarah was going to just give up trying to save Alison and Cosima, saying it was every freak for herself, but Felix reminded her what divorce could do to people. Sarah attempted to call Alison, but Alison didn't pick up. At which point Mrs. S showed up at Felix's telling them two homicide detectives showed up quite convinced they'd found Sarah's body in a gravel quarry. She wanted to know what was going on, and Sarah admitted she didn't want to lie to Mrs. S, but she wasn't yet ready to tell her what was going on. To which Mrs. S said if whatever was going on took one step toward Kira, Sarah was to yell fire and that they'd burn down the home they made for themselves if they had to. At which point, Sarah went back to the police station pretending to be Beth given Art had left her messages. Art asked her about the fingerprints, and she was shown a mugshot from her rapsheet. She played dumb, insisting she didn't know anything about Sarah Manning. After inquiring if she needed to lawyer up, Sarah got up and walked out.

Later while at Felix's, he got a call from the morgue attendant saying that two cops had reinvestigated the suicide-by-train victim and were coming to question him. Sarah grabbed her things and was about to leave when Alison knocked on the door. Sarah, however, took Alison with her. During the drive Alison confessed she'd slept with Aynsley's husband and that Aynsley had attacked her in the middle of the street. To which Sarah was a bit impressed and realized she'd underestimated Alison. Alison said she didn't want to divorce Donny but she couldn't keep lying to him or her children. Sarah expressed not knowing what to do anymore and feared Cosima would out her and Alison to the Neolutionists. She said she'd come back to fix things and be a real mom to Kira. It was then that she suggested they come out and tell the truth to Mrs. S. So she took Alison to Mrs. S's and told her they were clones. Mrs. S figured out that Alison had masqueraded as Sarah the first time she came to see Kira, for which Sarah apologized saying the crazy clone had been after her. Mrs. S finally ushered Alison up to the guest room as Alison was extremely high and drunk. Mrs. S revealed to Sarah that there were rumors that some of the children Carlton had were the subjects of medical experiments. Kira woke up and came downstairs while Sarah and Mrs. S were talking. Sarah asked if Mrs. S could get in touch with Carlton to find out more about where Sarah came from. Eventually, Sarah noticed the front door was open and when she went to look, she found that her coat was on the rack where Helena's had been and she knew Helena had been there. Running outside, Sarah spotted Helena walking with Kira and ran after her. Finally catching up to where Helena had taken Kira, Helena let Kira go back to Sarah, though as she crossed the road, Kira was hit by a car. The paramedics were called and Kira was rushed to the hospital. While the doctors prepped Kira for surgery, Sarah, Mrs. S and Felix were in the waiting room. Eventually, the doctor came out and said Kira was going to be fine, that there was no sign of internal injury anywhere in her body. Kira was released and able to go back home.

Once Kira was home and in bed, Sarah came to the conclusion that Helena had to go. She then called Helena to try and get a meeting with her, but the call was interrupted and Sarah hung up. Then she called Cosima, telling her of what had happened to Kira and that she'd be fine, but she also asked if it was possible she passed something on to Kira given she was genetically modified. Cosima said it was possible, but she didn't know what it could be. Cosima said if Sarah wanted, she could have DNA samples from Sarah and Kira and have them analyzed for anything like that, but the conversation ended when Sarah said she wasn't giving her her genetic material because she'd probably just turn it over to Delphine. When Cosima said she was just doing what they agreed about her following the science, Sarah said she worried more about scientists than she did science. The doorbell rang then and she hung up. It was Paul, having brought some puzzles and coloring books for Kira. He also brought news that Leekie knew who Sarah was. Paul told Sarah that Leekie wanted to meet, and he didn't trust Leekie either, so he suggested a way for Sarah to meet Leekie on her terms, given it was an opportunity to get answers. So Sarah listened to what Paul had to say. As she was about to leave to go meet Leekie, Art called her and said they needed to meet off-the-record. So Sarah made a stop to meet Art, who questioned her about Felix Dawkins. Despite her claim she didn't know Felix, Art said he'd followed her to Felix's place once before, the day he'd found the $75,000 in her trunk and stopped her from skipping town. He said it was all coming back to the Maggie Chen shooting, and Sarah said he didn't want to go there. When he said this was her last chance to come clean, Sarah responded that "We do what we gotta do" and then she left to go meet Leekie. When she arrived there, Cosima called her, saying she'd been right, that they weren't genetically identical despite the fact they should be. Cosima said there was a synthetic sequence in their DNA that was unique to each clone, but she didn't know what it was, hypothesizing that it was like a barcode or something. Sarah said that explained how Olivier knew he wasn't Beth, but not how Leekie knew her name and she accused Cosima of telling Delphine about her. Cosima defended herself saying she'd never say anything about her or Kira. Sarah said she was about to meet Leekie, and Cosima said to give him a chance and hear him out, that he cared about them, but Sarah retorted saying she was going to put a gun to his head and hung up as Paul was arriving with Leekie in tow. Leekie told Sarah there were questions he couldn't answer and insisted that like Paul and Olivier, he only knew his part in the project, which was data collection and that he looked after them, though Sarah reminded him that she was the exception, which he conceded as she had gotten away. Sarah wanted to know what it was all about, and Leekie said they could go much further than that, but they needed to come to an agreement about Helena. Sarah asked if she was supposed to kill Helena, but Leekie said he wanted Helena to be brought in so they could deprogram her, get her the help she needed. He said if she did that, they could move forward with a new understanding and he said they wouldn't have any monitors, which Sarah scoffed at. So Sarah was now left with a choice of what to do with Helena.

Back at Mrs. S's, Sarah tried to call Helena again, but got no answer. She'd told Mrs. S about what Leekie wanted her to do and she didn't know what she was going to do. She didn't know what Leekie would do to her, after all. When Mrs. S stated what did it matter, Sarah said her gut said put a bullet in Helena, but when she looked at Helena, all she saw was herself. Mrs. S told her she didn't owe Helena anything. She then told Sarah she'd gotten in touch with her people back in England about where Sarah was from. They said they'd get back to her, but they were scared, as if something was going on over there as well. Helena called Sarah and told her she was the only one she could turn to. After telling this to Mrs. S and Paul, they both told her they should just hand her over to Leekie, but Sarah needed a minute to think and went back upstairs to find Kira was awake. When she came downstairs, Paul and Mrs. S had gone somewhere else and she took Paul's gun and a jacket and left to go find Helena. When Sarah found Helena, she was in a cage, and Sarah pulled the gun out and pointed it at Helena's head. However, she couldn't shoot her. Sarah let Helena out of the cage, and Helena asserted that Sarah was all she had now, hugged her and told her she loved her. At which point Tomas entered and Helena took Sarah's gun and pointed it at Tomas. Tomas tried to get Helena to kill Sarah, and Sarah insisted that Tomas was lying to her. After a tense game of verbal tug-of-war with Helena, eventually Helena believed Sarah when Sarah said he was going to hurt Kira the way he'd hurt Helena, and Helena attacked Tomas. Sarah then hit Helena in the head and knocked her out, and tied her hands behind her back, then locked Tomas in the cage. She took Helena, put her in the trunk of her car and was about to take her and give her to Leekie when Mrs. S called and said she needed to come back home with Helena. When Sarah asked why, Mrs. S said she'd explain when she got there. So Sarah drove home instead, leaving Leekie and Paul confused and wondering why Sarah wasn't there when she'd said she would be. When Sarah got home, she left Helena in the trunk of the car and she met her birth mother, Amelia. Amelia explained that a wealthy couple asked her to be their in vitro surrogate and they paid her. However, she eventually overheard a conversation of theirs and she realized they were scientists and she knew the child she was carrying was in danger, so she ran and hid. But she'd given birth to twin girls, and she knew she couldn't keep them so she gave them up. She gave one to the state, Sarah, and the other to the church, Helena.

Amelia wanted to see Helena, so Sarah had taken her out of the trunk and tied her up in the basement. Mrs. S was against this, but Sarah said how Helena handled this would determine what they did with her. So Sarah took Amelia into the basement to see Helena. When Helena started laughing upon seeing Amelia, Sarah told her she was going to listen to what Amelia had to say or she was going straight back into the trunk and going to Leekie. Sarah stressed she didn't want to be Helena's sister, but she wanted her to understand that she'd been born of science and not of whatever bullshit Tomas had fed her. She also stressed that she wasn't the original as Tomas had led her to believe. Hearing insistent knocking at the door upstairs, Sarah and Amelia ran upstairs. It was the police and they came in and arrested Sarah and took her in for questioning. Sarah said he wouldn't believe her if she told him the truth, at which point he said to try it. Given they'd taken Sarah's phone, which was actually Beth's phone, when they processed her, Art found the recording Sarah had made on the phone shortly before she was going to enter Maggie Chen's apartment to meet Helena. Sarah caved, telling him there was a reason they looked alike, had the same fingerprints and the DNA was screwed up, but she needed Art to promise her that he would protect her and Kira. He made the promise and Sarah was just about to tell him about the clones when a lawyer came in, declared the interview over and took Sarah away. He took her to a building and Paul was there waiting for her, and Sarah immediately felt as though he'd betrayed her and questioned whether he was working for Leekie now. Paul said they still had Afghanistan over him, which Sarah didn't understand what it meant, but he didn't elaborate. He told her to listen to what they had to say, and then she came face-to-face with yet another clone named Rachel Duncan who had been raised by the Neolutionists. Rachel had an offer for Sarah, a contract of sorts that consisted of mutual disclosure and protection. However, Rachel revealed that they knew about Kira. Sarah, however, wasn't going to take the deal and turned it down. Rachel gave her until midnight the following night to make her final decision.

After that, Sarah went back to Felix's where Alison was and they were discussing the deals they'd been offered about not having monitors, so on and so forth. Felix reminded them that while he and Sarah were busy being arrested, Helena escaped. At which point a knock came at the door and it was Cosima, just arriving. Cosima apologized to Sarah, saying she should've listened to her about Delphine. They made their peace with a hug, then they all sat down to discuss the offers Leekie and Rachel had given the three of them. Felix wanted to know what Sarah was going to do, and she said she didn't trust Rachel, and Cosima backed her up, pointing out that Kira could be what Rachel was really after. Alison made the assertion as long as her family was safe, she was inclined to take the deal. Cosima and Sarah said there was no judgment on that, that it was her choice. When Delphine texted Cosima and Cosima realized she'd just arrived in town, Sarah got up and made the comment that she probably just wanted to help like Art, Paul, Rachel and everyone else. She said she was going back to Mrs. S's, and said that they all made their own choices, but she wouldn't trust anyone. At Mrs. S's, Sarah packed a bag of clothes and such for Kira and hid it, just in case they had to leave suddenly, and Kira wasn't supposed to tell anyone about it, even Mrs. S. When Sarah left to get meet Amelia, Mrs. S told her to mind Amelia and it was obvious Mrs. S was distressed. Upon stating that Amelia didn't raise Sarah, Sarah said she knew, that Mrs. S did. After giving her hand a squeeze, Sarah left.

When Sarah arrived at Beth's apartment to meet Amelia, she was greeted by a bloody scene. She got a phone call from Helena and she asked what she'd done. Helena invited her to come join her and Amelia. Sarah went to the address Helena told her to come to, which was an old decrepit warehouse. There was a trail of blood on the floor that Sarah followed. She'd taken her gun with her, not trusting Helena. The trail of blood led to Amelia, who was barely alive. Amelia gave her a photograph and tried to warn her about Mrs. S. Helena showed herself and Amelia died right in front of Sarah. Sarah called Helena a psycho for killing someone she'd spent her entire life dreaming about. Helena said she'd separated them, that they were sisters. Sarah said Helena was nothing to her, just some crazy bitch wearing her t-shirt. At which point, Helena attacked Sarah and they got into a physical fight, which was largely Helena beating up on Sarah and strangling her with a chain before Helena hurled Sarah into a cement support beam face-first two times. However, Helena said she could not kill Sarah, just like Sarah could not kill her. At which point Sarah grabbed her gun out from under her and pointed it at Helena. Helena said they made a family, but Sarah said she already had a family and shot Helena in the chest, killing her. At which point, Sarah crawled over to the beam Amelia's body was slumped against and she broke down, finally having hit her snapping point. Grabbing her phone, she called Rachel and wanted to know that Kira wouldn't have to live like this. When Rachel said they could do that, Sarah said she was coming in. She was intent on taking the deal in order to protect Kira. When she got to the building and got in the elevator, Paul was in there and took it up with her. He told her what happened in Afghanistan, that he'd killed six Marines and that was what Leekie and the others were holding over him. He posed the question to Sarah that if she was born outside of their control, what did they really have on her?

It was then that Cosima called Sarah, telling her she couldn't make a deal. Any freedom and whatnot that they offered them was bullshit because the barcode she'd told her about earlier was a patent. They were property of their creators and they could claim Kira. Hanging up, Sarah told Paul they'd patented them. At which point Sarah decided against taking the deal and she sent Rachel an email that read "UP YOURS, PROCLONE." She left with Paul, and Sarah immediately went to Mrs. S's to get Kira. However when she got there, the place was completely trashed with no sign of either Mrs. S or Kira. Sarah ran up to Kira's bedroom and saw the window was open. She ran to it and called out Kira's name. And then she found herself in a completely different place.

Previous Game History, IF APPLICABLE: N/A

Personality: Tough and gritty, Sarah is edgy and, at times, difficult. She is headstrong and quick to anger. The emotion is rather her defense mechanism, her ability to cope to changes in her environment. Sarah is prone to emotional outbursts when she’s angry, though it’s largely kept to being unleashed in non-public places. Unless she’s exceptionally stressed. While she is quick to anger, Sarah doesn't hurt people unless she is in imminent danger. Though there is one instance where she did kill someone, but it was after witnessing her birth mother's death and Sarah had reached her breaking point. Sarah has a deep-seeded fight or flight mentality. She is definitely not afraid of fighting. Her ex-boyfriend Vic was abusive, but she'd hit back. However, if a situation becomes too tense, Sarah will get up and leave without warning.

Sarah has a tendency to hide her heart from people and she pretends she doesn’t care about anyone except her daughter and Felix. But the truth is that she does care. When it comes down to it, Sarah does have a conscience and she cares about people. She just doesn’t like being seen in that light, so she hides her heart behind somewhat sarcastic humor and her gruff exterior. She may be very rough around the edges, but once someone gets past that, she is quite the caring person. The longer she stays around people that she likes, the more she comes to care and starts showing it. Of course, Sarah doesn't straight up say she cares for someone, she doesn't really know how to say that or truly show it. The way she shows she cares is through her actions and what she does for those she cares about.

She is a punk, both in the lifestyle she’d adopted and the music she listens to. Also with her colored past, Sarah is a natural chameleon, and she adapts to whatever situation she’s in fairly quickly. Such talents were why she’d been able to masquerade as Beth Childs for an extended period of time. Building on that, Sarah is also very much a survivor. She had a rough life, partially due to her own choices, and that experience has shaped her for better or for worse. Her early foster home experience wasn't the best, and she's maintained that rebellious nature. At least up until she fell into the mess with her clones, once she became entrenched in that, she's both grown up and become edgier due to the circumstances she was in. She is very unyielding to Dr. Leekie and the scientists that created them. At every turn, she refuses to bend to their will and will do anything to keep herself, her daughter, and sister clones out of their hands.

Sarah may not be book-smart, but she's incredibly street-smart. She's also intelligent, able to come up with plans on the fly if faced with information she's not prepared for. While she may be caught off-guard at times, Sarah almost always is able to talk her way out of nearly anything. Unless she's talking to someone like Mrs. S or Felix that know when she's lying or trying to back out of something.

Special facts/special abilities about your character: Sarah is a grifter, she has a natural ability to be a chameleon when she has to or wants to. She can imitate any accent given proper preparation time and assume any role. She's masqueraded as a cop, a German, and even pretended to be Alison once in front of Alison's friends and husband with no one noticing something was off about her. Going along with that, Sarah, with practice, can also forge signatures, thus able to gain access to bank accounts and other things. Though Sarah doesn't usually go for long cons, she became entrenched in Beth Child's life. Sarah far prefers the short con, to get her money and run.

It should also be noted that Sarah was genetically engineered. Sarah is the only clone to have even gotten pregnant and given birth. The other clones are either stated as being sterile or assumed to be sterile. Canon has hinted that Sarah passed a genetic anomaly onto her daughter that allows her daughter the ability to rapidly heal herself from injuries. However, any specifics on this have not been delved into in detail.

What is arriving with your character? The clothes on her back (including her leather jacket), photograph her birth mother gave to her when she died, and a gun.

Anyone tries to stick me with a needle without my consent is also getting a black eye.
